Npx8 docs: prompt to game-ready 3D
How to write prompts, refine 3D models with Forge, export GLB and OBJ files for your engine and share the assets you make.
Quick start
Sign in, type a prompt in the bar at the bottom of the dashboard, and press Generate. Forge builds the mesh; the finished asset opens in your library.
Prompting
Describe one object: shape, material, style. Skip backgrounds and lighting.
Reference images
Forge is text-only. Advanced engines behind More options accept reference images; upload one object on a plain background, stored privately.
Engines
- Forge — the default engine, text only
- Rodin 2.5, Trellis 2 and Hunyuan 3D — premium engines behind More options, on Studio and Studio+
The default path never asks you to pick an engine. Forge plans the mesh, builds it and critiques its own pass.
Exports
- GLB — the primary file for Unity, Unreal, Godot, Blender and web
- OBJ — the backup pair for Blender and older pipelines
Forge adds base color and an optional normal map. Other formats are only produced by advanced engines behind More options.
LOD and ORM
The game-ready report lists triangle counts per LOD level and flags repair issues. Forge does not pack ORM maps.
Forge
Forge plans a model from simple shapes, scores it from four views, and fixes it over several passes. Use Refine again to push further.
Limits
10 generations per minute and 100 per day per account. Plans with higher limits are on the waitlist.
